Moving Onwards and Upwards

Today is my last day in Nelson. From here, I’m going to try heading up to Farewell Spit, the northernmost area of the South Island. I say try, because the weather looks pretty bad right now. After a few days things might change, but I’m hoping I won’t be too drenched in rain for the next couple of days.

It is sad to leave a place that has really felt like ‘home’ for the last 6 weeks, but my time in New Zealand is coming to an end and there are still a few things I’d like to do. So after one last bread party, I’ll pack up my car and hit the road again. Adventures await!

  1. Your comments about Nelson being homey brought a tear to my eye. Good adventure hunting!
